In today's episode, Chris and I discuss how we
approach designing running plans for our patients getting back to
training and competition and how we coach athletes for performance
and longevity. We discuss practical case examples and the need for
open/honest communication, how to balancing work and life with
training. Finally, we discuss how we approach running returning
from bone and tendon injuries of the hip, knee, and foot.
Chris and I are excited to announce we are taking our
BTWW course to Nashville, Tennessee, on 9/30-10/1. This is a two
day, in-person course designed to sharpen your clinical skills
working with runners. We cover fundamental sciences of bone and
tendon injuries, running a targeted orthopaedic exam, exercise
progression, and developing return to run plans. And this course is
heavy on practical application. It’s all about how you apply key
ideas to actual runners. To learn more, check out the link
